The unit features an elegant matte black finish in a sturdy steel case. There are bright red and green indicator leds to provide status information. This particular unit offers the convenience of bypassing inactive inputs automatically reducing button pushes required to togge through inputs. In fact, it will automatically switch to an active input if the current input is inactive, providing effective autoswitching in most cases. (* some devices may have an always on HDMI port in which case autoswitching is defeated)

The switch comes with a compact IR remote for convenient input switching from the comfort of your couch and also an RS-232 serial interface and PC software for controlling the device from your computer.
